Anyone receive Mail-In Rebates from Dicks for Shotgun ammo?
 

Dicks had a special mail-in rebate running back in Nov/Dec. on Remington shotgun slugs and buckshot. Up to $18 back per mail-in rebate.

I remember us discussing this rebate on GIM and I was wondering if anyone received theirs? I have yet to receive a check for mine.

Man I hate mail in rebates ;/ I have only ever received one - admittedly I rarely bother with them anymore. I received one from AT&T last month - whish is the only one I can recall ever receiving!

Generally I agree that rebates are complete and total wastes of time and energy. HOWEVER, I bought a Taurus 1911 a few months ago and it had a $75 mail in rebate. I got the check back in like 10 days and IT WAS MADE OUT BY TAURUS--not some BS third party rebate handler. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor.

You should be able to track your rebate's status at that website, if it was handled by Remington. If Dick's was doing the rebate, then I don't know.
I bought some Rem green box rifle ammo last year (Aug-Sept?) that had a Rem rebate on it, and received a check in about 2 months, if I recall. I always scan all my rebates and receipts, just in case. That came in handy once, but never had any issues with Rem rebates, yet.

Holy crap....I totally forgot about this, I bought an 870 from Dick's and sent in the rebate form in December. I'll have to check up on it.

One other thing.....

A couple of years ago while perusing the net for some new golf clubs, I discovered to my absolute HORROR that Dicks website is absolutely, most assuredly NOT www.dicks.com

Figured I would bump this. I received the first 2 rebate checks today in the mail. A month of wondering what was up, and a day after posting wondering if anyone else had this issue.

Dick's is the only major chain around here that has ammunition stocked up heavy.
